The Singles

The Juncos have always been a great Live Band but its fair to say singles have never been our thing. Saying that however we took Gerry Ragovoy's "As long as I have you" to number 60 in the British Pop Charts on the same day that the "Rolling Stones" released "Not Fade Away" in 1965.

Its also no surprise that the B' sides "Take this Hammer" and "Noizez in my Head" lasted a long time in the Juncos set, compared with the corresponding A' sides. Our most enjoyable single was John and Ken's "Swinging 60's Boys", which enjoyed a great deal of independent interest in the early 80's but never charted. Now brought together on one CD, it catalogues the Juncos few attempts to "be serious".
